In 2017, she won the "Kickass Single Mom" Award for her work in sexuality education and youth rites of passage. The Boston Herald celebrated Vanessa Osage as a "champion of change" in 2019, for advancing transparency and reform through The Justice CORPS Initiative at The Amends Project.

She is also a Certified Professional Coach, CPC, at Love & Truth Rising, with expertise in Transforming Conflict, Emotional Liberation, and Personal Empowerment, as well as Book Writing. Vanessa Osage offers culturally-sensitive, justice-minded Restorative Consulting services to groups and organizations.
